Community event – activism combines forces & vegan hangout

ENGLISH EVENT by Vegan Amsterdam

You want to get active for the animals but not quite sure how? We will spend the afternoon joining different local campaigns and outreach efforts. Let’s work together and strengthen our bonds and our protests! If you’re new to activism this is a good opportunity to see in what kinds of activism local activists are involved. Find a way to be active for the animals which suits you. From 13:00 we’ll do different protests collectively. All locations are within walking distance from eachother.

From 17:15 on it’s time to hang out, meet eachother, share ideas and make plans together for the new year! In the spirit of the Dutch ‘nieuwjaarsborrel’. Let’s meet as vegan community in Amsterdam! (Everybody is welcome, vegan, not vegan yet or if you didn’t participate in the afternoon activism) You want to meet like-minded people and make vegan friends? You want to go vegan but not sure how? You having exciting ideas or plans how to make Amsterdam more vegan-friendly? Please be welcome! There will be drinks and snacks available as well as dinner (reservation required) by @cafegilde.mokum x chef @plantbasedchef.priya !

16:00 – 17:00 Anti-fur protest by Dutch Anti-fur Movement at Loro Piana, P.C. Hooftstraat (meeting point in front of Moco Museum, Museumplein sid)

17:15 – 20:30 Vegan hangout at Café Gilde, OT301 (Overtoom 301)
Featuring Fellow Vegans, Duurzame Dates, Vegan Girls Club and Vegan Taalcafé
Including snacks, drinks and food
